Each cake is hand-dyed in my home studio, flowing seamlessly through a beautiful gradient of bright orange. Whether you’re making garments, accessories, or home décor, this yarn is designed to make your project truly shine.
This gradient set includes six 50g yarn cakes in a smooth colour transition. It’s available in your choice of 4ply (fingering weight) or 8ply (DK weight) – just select your ply before checkout.
To make your crochet or knitting journey even easier, each cake includes a handmade ‘Start Here’ sticker tucked inside – so you can skip the yarn barf and get straight to stitching. These stickers are printed in my studio on compostable material using a thermal printer, keeping things kind to the planet too.
Made from 100% cotton and dyed in small batches, this yarn is soft, breathable, and naturally antibacterial. And just like everything in my shop, it's eco-friendly and plastic-free from start to finish.

Will the colours look exactly like the photos?
I do my best to photograph colours as accurately as possible, but screens can vary slightly. Each batch is also hand-dyed, so there may be small variations… that’s part of what makes each piece unique.
Are all yarn cakes exactly the same?
Because each cake is hand-dyed in small batches, there can be subtle differences between them. They’re designed to work beautifully together, but no two are completely identical.
How do I find the start of the yarn?
All of my yarn is wound into cakes rather than hanks, so it’s ready to use straight away… no winding needed.
Each cake also includes a small “start here” tab tucked inside to help you find the end quickly.
It’s a simple little thing, but it makes getting started so much easier… and helps avoid the dreaded yarn barf 😄
What can I make with this yarn?
4ply is perfect for lightweight garments, shawls, baby blankets and fine detailed projects.
8ply works up a little quicker and is great for garments, accessories and everyday makes.
How much yarn do I need?
Each cake is 50g, and yarn requirements will depend on your project. Most projects will use multiple cakes depending on the size and style.

Where do you source your yarn?
I source my yarn through a woollen mill here in NSW, which is something that’s really important to me as a small Australian business.
While the base yarn itself is imported, supporting local suppliers and businesses is something I always prioritise where I can.
All yarn is then hand-dyed by me in my home studio.
