8ply (DK Weight)
• 100% cotton
• 50g yarn cake
• Approx. 90 metres
• Recommended hook/needle: 4–4.5mm
• Works up a little faster with a slightly thicker finish
Will the colours look exactly like the photos?
I do my best to photograph colours as accurately as possible, but screens can vary slightly. Each batch is also hand-dyed, so there may be small variations… that’s part of what makes each piece unique.
Are all yarn cakes exactly the same?
Because each cake is hand-dyed in small batches, there can be subtle differences between them. They’re designed to work beautifully together, but no two are completely identical.
How do I find the start of the yarn?
All of my yarn is wound into cakes rather than hanks, so it’s ready to use straight away… no winding needed.
Each cake also includes a small “start here” tab tucked inside to help you find the end quickly.
It’s a simple little thing, but it makes getting started so much easier… and helps avoid the dreaded yarn barf 😄
What can I make with this yarn?
4ply is perfect for lightweight garments, shawls, baby blankets and fine detailed projects.
8ply works up a little quicker and is great for garments, accessories and everyday makes.
How much yarn do I need?
Each cake is 50g, and yarn requirements will depend on your project. Most projects will use multiple cakes depending on the size and style.

Where do you source your yarn?
I source my yarn through a woollen mill here in NSW, which is something that’s really important to me as a small Australian business.
While the base yarn itself is imported, supporting local suppliers and businesses is something I always prioritise where I can.
All yarn is then hand-dyed by me in my home studio.

How is the yarn packaged for posting?
All orders are packed using eco-friendly packaging wherever possible. I try to keep things simple, minimal, and kind to the environment while still making your order feel special when it arrives.

The yarn is a gorgeous rich Gray with such depth in the colour.The cotton is smooth on my hook and easy to work when the fabric gets creating is just looking wonderful.

Hubby bought this gorgeous aqua yarn for me as I wanted to crochet a shawl to go with our youngest daughter's formal dress. So far this yarn is working up beautifully & with a gorgeous drape to it. With one ball almost done & 3 to go, I haven't found any flaws in it & am so thrilled as so many other brands often have joins throughout to make up the yarnage and/or weight, these don't! Long time fan of dusty Pink, so glad I picked this for my collection it is a beautiful dusty pink.
Ever been stuck with a white that either is that shade off or not as white as you would like. After crocheting with the white from the unicorn box I decided I'd buy a few more balls, because quite frankly it's absolutely pure white!
